Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Bate Labs, LLC ("Bate Labs," "we," "us") governing your use of the Forge Built mobile application and related services (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Forge Built. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Forge Built offers optional premium subscriptions ("Forge Built Premium") on a recurring, auto-renewing basis (e.g. monthly or annually, as shown at the time of purchase).
Subscriptions automatically renew for the same term at the price shown at checkout unless you cancel before the current period ends.
Subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play are billed and managed by Apple or Google — to cancel, manage your subscription through your Apple ID or Google Account settings, not within the App. Subscriptions purchased directly are billed via Stripe and can be managed in-app under Settings.
If a free trial is offered, it automatically converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless canceled beforehand.
Refunds are handled according to the policies of the platform you subscribed through (Apple, Google, or Stripe).

4. Health and Fitness Disclaimer

Forge Built provides AI-generated training programs and coaching guidance for informational and fitness purposes only. It is not medical advice, and it does not diagnose, treat, or provide a substitute for professional medical guidance. Talk to a physician before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have an existing injury, medical condition, or are pregnant. You are solely responsible for exercising safely, using proper form, and knowing your own physical limits. Weightlifting and physical training carry an inherent risk of injury. You assume that risk voluntarily by using the App.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the workout data, comments, and other content you submit to the App ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant Bate Labs a license to use, store, and display it as necessary to operate the App — including showing your activity to people you follow or train with, where you've chosen to make it visible.

6. Buddy Workouts and Social Features

When you use buddy workouts, following, or activity feed features, be respectful of other users. Don't harass, impersonate, or share someone else's information without their consent. We may remove content or restrict access for violations of these Terms.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: reverse-engineer or misuse the App; attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization; use the App for any unlawful purpose; or interfere with the App's normal operation.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from within Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Bate Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including injuries sustained while following a training program generated by the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the App is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
